Also known as the Hospital de la Sangre or Blood Hospital, it was founded in 1500 by Lady Catalina de Ribera and her son Fadrique de Ribera, the first Marquis of Tarifa. Refined and with unparallel classicism, it is one of the best examples of Renaissance architecture in the whole of Andalusia.
